The adapter list above is like a museum tour of optical history. Here’s what you can do:
Use the Lenses You Already Own: If you’re moving from a Canon DSLR, keep using your EF or EF-S lenses (NP8260) with full compatibility (including autofocus and aperture control with many adapters). You can also adapt classic Canon FD lenses (NP8312) for a retro touch.

A few friendly reminders before you start:
Check the Adapter Type: For Canon EF lenses, get a dedicated EF-EOS R adapter (like NP8260) to keep autofocus and electronic control. For other lenses, adapters are usually simple mechanical rings—so you’ll focus and set the aperture manually.
Focus Help is Your Friend: Use focus peaking and magnification in your EOS R’s manual focus mode. It makes nailing focus easy and fun.
